Every wonder how to make mini tissue paper pom pom?
Me to so I decided to write a little diy for you :)
First of course you need some tissue paper. I save them when I get gifts so I have a little stash, some siccors and something to tie them up with, wire or string something along those lines.
To make them mini you only need one sheet of paper. You cut in half then in half again. So you should have four equals quarters.
You fold them back and forth, making an according or fan shape. We all remeber making little fans in school when it was hot, well atleast I did. I thought I was so cool with my "fancy" fan.
Then tie it in the middle with your string.
Then you can leave the ends how they are or cut in an shape you want. I did a half circle (even though that picture is so bad) you can make a v shape or tassle everything will look good I promise.
Then just fluff it out. Since I will be putting mine on the wall you want to fluff it up so it doesnt make a ball. If you are going to hang them or want the ball look then make it look like a ball.
Then you are done.
I wanted them to be different sizes so the light purple is the cut into four. The pink is the size when the paper is cut into six pieces, and th epurple was a small piece (I think a half sheet) I cut into eight. If you need cupcake toppers these would be great if you made really small ones they would be cute and I might use that for Elizabeths upcoming birthday party (how has this year gone by so fast).
I like them a lot and they cost me literally nothing, and add some color to my wall. and just so you know the sign above them says Springtime... I didnt want to get my wide lens out, sorry for being lazy. I do love it though. they are cute little paper circles that are CHALKBOARDS.. how cute is that?
Plus this is my favorite window frame, I love it so much and I cant bring mysle fto change the color of the fabric (my room growing up was teal so it definetly popped) I just love it
xoxo Nicole
