Chicken Cordon Blue... yum

After two really sappy/lovey posts I decided to post about our mothers day dinner.
Homemade Chicken Cordon Blue

This picture doesn't do it justice.

James has been wanting it for such a long time, and the main reason I haven't done
it was because I never had thawed chicken. But we had chicken that
we bought and hadn't put in bags yet. Also James got spoiled because
I used a whole piece of chicken not a half piece like I usually cook.

But since it was homemade I'll give you the recipe, so you to can enjoy the goodness :)

Ingredients:
Chicken Breast
Ham Slices
Cheese
Flour
Eggs
Bread Crumbs
Cream of Chicken soup
Sour Cream
milk (optional)

Directions:
"For the Chicken"
Take thawed chicken and hit with a hammer to flatten,
then after your chicken is flat layer with the ham and cheese
(I used mozzarella, your suppose to use swiss, but whatever you have will work)
then roll/fold it up
(you may need a toothpick to hold it together)
Then put flour, scrambled eggs, and bread crumbs in three bowls.
then dip your chicken wrap in the flour, then the eggs, then the crumbs.
Put in a pan and bake at 350 for 30 to 45 minutes.
Also if you want it crispy you can put melted butter or olive oil over top of the chicken.

"The Sauce"
The sauce is really easy all you do is take a can of CoC soup and
add a couple scoops of sour cream, and a little milk to thin it and thats it.

I hope you enjoy it, it's really good :)

xoxo Nicole
