Candied Bacon

If you or anybody you know that loves bacon they will die when they eat this.
I love bacon of any kind, but if I fixed it for breakfast I would only fix a couple of piece and that was plenty for me. When I go to the store and pay for a BACON cheeseburger I expect to
get more than two tiny pieces but I dont over eat bacon. Well I wont lie I ate almost half a package when I made this and every other time I have made it, it is that good.

This is the best recipe by far. I found a lot of recipes that say just to cover the bacon with brown sugar and bake it but I like a little bit more tanginess to it.
This is the perfect sweet candy with a little tang and hearty pepper flavor.

Ingredients:
1 lb of Bacon
1/4 C Br. Sugar
2T vinegar (any kind will work)
2T Maple Syrup
Pepper to taste

Recipe:
Preheat your oven to 350 degree F
Mix all the ingredients except the bacon.
Lay the bacon on a wire rack then inside a pan, and bake for ten minutes,
turn the slices and bake another five minutes.
(its ok if they overlap but as you flip them try to stagger them)
No the more time consuming part.
No you are going to flip the bacon and baste it with the sugar mixture, then repeat this step every five minutes.
Bake for about 35 more minutes or until the bacon looks done (if you want it crunchy crunchy then let it cook a bit longer)

Then enjoy you amazing bacon or cooled down, if there is any left store in a air tight container.
but I doubt there wil be any left ;)
