crunchy crunchy crunchy

There are so many types of moms out there. Some that work or send their kids to daycare, some that read everything about a cough and some that co-cleep.

As for me I consider myself a "crunchy" mom, who loves extended breastfeeding, and co-sleeping in the morning, and staying in sweats most of the day. And you want to know something that is ok.

I remember being a child and thinking about having children and being so excited to have my own and I remember the day I found out I was pregnant with Jackson, I wont lie I cried for a long moment as James held me. My tears were because of a lto fo emotions. I was mostly scared but not scared in a bad way, more "wow I have never been a mother before what am I going to do" kind of scared. I also was so happy for that little baby in my me. I was so excited to be a mother but gosh James and I had been married for a little less than two months (yes we get things done fast around here).

Now that I have been a mother for a couple of years of course it consumes me in the very best way. I love that though we all have the responsibility of raising this child that has been given to us there are so many ways to do it. With each unique child comes a unique mother.

I know the motherhood is one of the greatest blessings any woman can have, and in my opinion, it is sad when people dont want kids at all, but that is their choice and they have the free agency of that.

I have been blessed beyond measure with the two beautiful children I have been given and the family I love. James has been such an amazing father, and it is funny how we come from different families but we believe the same things, even though we do things A LOT differently, but that only confirms that we are meant to be together and raise our family in our own unique ways. Together we have so many things to teach our children.
