Four Months Old

Every parent says this and they know it to be very true, where does the time go? I cannot believe Elizabeth is already four months old.

Elizabeth has been such a blessing to our family. she is such a happy baby. When she wakes up, which takes a bit of time, but when her eyes open she is all smiles. 

She is about 16 to 17 pounds, but we will find out exactly when we go to the doctors. she wears 3-6 month clothing but they are getting a little tight. She is just a chunker and I love it. Her thighs have rolls and they are so ticklish. She laughs at almost anything except Jackson, she is only fond of him sometimes, usually when he isn't close to her. 

She still has peach fuzz and nothing more, but bows and head bands look absolutely adorable on her. She can copy little things like blowing raspberries, and her favorite thing right now a low scream. so if i make noises she will copy as best as she can. She definitely loves to be held but doesnt mind being put down. She is an amazing eater and loves to nurse just as often as Jackson did, which is every hour it seems like, good thing she is also a fast eater. She sleeps through the night, which is amazing. She has never liked swaddling but rather sleeps on her tummy just like Jackson did. Then she wakes up in the morning for a snack and goes back to sleep. She has the strongest legs and when we change her she kicks and kicks and kicks. Sometimes when she is in her bed on on the floor she can turn in circles just by kicking her legs. She is almost rolling over but not yet still a couple of weeks for that. We had her on her legs propped up on the couch and she stood for a logn time, so that kicking is paying off.

We love our Elizabeth so much, she is such a great addition to our family. The amount of love and happiness she has brought to us is immeasurable. Jackson has been such a great big brother and loves her so much. Even though James didn't have sister he is doing such a good job at raising his daughter.
