My baby boy...

Jackson turned seven months on Saturday
(you would already know this if you read my other post, but I wanted to elaborate more on baby Jack Jack)

Wow where has all the time gone? Those people who say it will fly by and to enjoy every moment of it were right. When you are pregnant with your first child (this may not happen to everybody but did to me) it goes by so slow. It seems like forever for your baby to come. You count down the days, which seems to stretch for years. You fold and refold baby clothing trying to find the perfect placement before he comes. Then bam all of the sudden you have this precious little bundle in your arms looking at you. Helpless, and he needs you 100% of the time, then bam he is grown.

Yes maybe Jackson isnt leaving for his mission quite yet, but wow time really does fly. He can crawl, and love little puffs, and tiny bits of table food that I bite down to size for him. He knows what he wants (usually a phone, remote, or some sort of electrical device or something we dont want him to have)
and when doesn't get the said item, he gets mad.

He has a personality all his own. He loves to stand up on the chair during sacrament and flirt with the people behind us no matter who they are. He loves his toys and te knows what his baby food jars are, and gets excited when I pull them out of the cupboard because he knows hes gonna get some yum yums.

Nobody could of described to me how wonderful being a parent is. I love this job. At times it may be hard, but it is so rewarding. When those gorgeous eyes look up at me when I enter the room, or those beautiful lips that curl when you fall asleep in my arms.

I love Jackson in a way I have never loved another human being before. I can picture him growing up and leaving for his mission or college, though I dont want him to ever grow u, he inevitably will.

It is bittersweet.

I love my little baby. He is the greatest gift I have ever been given. Though I am excited, I cannot believe he is already seven months old.

Now here is some pictures from his seventh month photo shoot, needless to say he wasn't very cooperative.

This one on the left cracks me up and reassures me Jackson is going to be a hoot when he is older :)

Jackson you are one amazing boy, whom I love dearly

xoxo Nicole

  1. nicole, Those are cute pictures. You are right, the time flys very quickly and soon they are grown and having children of their own. But you are taking lots of pics that will help you remember them at this age. Thanks for your blog and sharing.
