People Can Surprise You

This is just a thought post, and an opinion post.

I have been trying not to judge people. That has been one of my main goals for the past couple of years. You see somebody who is "rough" you might tend to judge them. But I try not to. When I do find myself judging them in my mind, I try to come up with a reason or an explanation or find something good about them. They will never know I am judging them, so why does it matter? God knows that I am judging them, I know. So I have been trying to not do that.

Also what I have come to realize with my older age, and wisdom that I have gained, is that people are never who you judge them to be at first. One lady at work in particular. She has that demeanor of being really blunt, and not somebody who is lovey dovey. I know that probably doesnt make sense but she has the attitude that she doesnt like you. Well Ididnt talkt o her very much in the past because I didnt think she liked me. But I said something to her a couple of days ago, and to my surprise she is really nice. What I found out, she is fake. She isnt going to put up this front, she is who she is. She wont pretend around you. There have been a couple people at work like that. Where I dont talk to them or I thought they would be one way, then turns out they are amazing woman.

So I guess my thought for the day, is to not judge people. They will surprise you.

The only time I might judge if I was in a dark alley and a strange guy was behind me following me, but the likelihood of that happening is very slim.
