Big Boy Bed

So lately Jackson has been waking up as we try to put him down in his bouncer or in the car seat, and he will only sleep if you hold him. But I have found out a way that he will sleep and it doesnt involve me holding him constantly, even though I would love that but nothing would get done. So I found out he loves to sleep on my chest with his stomach on my chest, so I put him in his playpen on his stomach (I know you are not suppose to do it, but I check on him every 20 minutes or so). And he really seems to like sleeping on his stomach.

At night when I would nurse him I would rock him to sleep and right as I place him in his bouncer next to my bed he would wake up and stay awake for another hour. Lastnight he didnt wake up as I put him in his bed, which means I get more sleep. Hallelujah!!!! lol, He's a good sleeper, but he's also a good eater and likes to wake up frequently and eat until I cut him off. So this way I get more sleep.

Although I love getting more sleep, it's kind of bittersweet. He is so far away from me now at night and I miss him sleeping where if I open my eyes i can see him. But I also dont want a five year who has to sleep in our bed, so it is for the better.
