Granola :)

Between work and being pregnant I have been so tired and havent felt like blogging.
(Plus I dont live a very eventful life)

BUT....

I have been craving granola for the past week, but I didnt want to buy
it because it is so expensive. So I look at couple different recipes and came up with my own recipe
which is amazing. I love it so much. I made it yesterday and I've already eaten half of it.
So I will definitely be making another batch.

It's a sweet crunchy kind but here is the recipe if you
(This is my own concoction, so change anything you would like to fit your likes/dislikes)

Ingredients:
3 Cups of Oats (I used one minute kind)
2 teaspoons of cinnamon
1/2 Cup of coconut flakes
3/4 Cup sunflower seeds
1/2 C brown sugar
1 Cup Raisins
3 Tablespoons of syrup
1 Tablespoon of Oil
2 teaspoons of vanilla
1/2 Cup of honey

Directions:
Mix all the dry ingredients in a bowl.
Mix wet ingredients in a bowl and wisk till it is all mixed.
Pour over the oats gradually while stirring it in evenly
Put on greased or parchment papered flat pan
Bake at 275 for 15 minutes then stir then bake another 20 minutes
Let cool for about 15 minutes then brake up and continue to cool
Store in an air tight bag or tubberware.

Now for me I didnt line or grease the sheet pan, bad idea...
Also you can use any type of nuts, (sunflower seeds were the cheapest)
Also you can use any kind of dried fruit (I love raisins)
Also you can use the rolled oats
I personally dont like honey so if you want to exclude the syrup that is fine.
The granola should still come out okay.

just add what you have, If you want to add any type of chocolate type candy
then wait till it cools and then add it.

I hope you enjoy this new recipe that i am in love with.

xoxo Nicole

(P.S. I've been eating this stuff non-stop, its addicting)
